Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and RW MobiMedia UK Limited ("we", "us" or "our") about your use of the TapChae-K app (the "App"). By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. The App is intended for users aged 18 and over.
About the App
TapChae-K is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by any card issuer or transport operator. Card and service names referred to in the App are trademarks of their respective owners and are used for identification only.
Advertising and App Integrity
The free version of the App is funded by advertising, and you agree that we may show you advertisements. We may limit, suspend or discontinue some or all features for you if we reasonably determine that:
- advertisements are being blocked or prevented from displaying;
- the App was obtained other than through Google Play; or
- the App has been modified, repackaged or tampered with.
Accuracy of Information
Information in the App, including Location names, is provided for reference only, may contain errors or omissions and is not an official record of your card, payments or Journeys. For official information, please refer to your card issuer.
Online Features
Some features, including Location names, are optional, need an internet connection and may be unavailable from time to time. We may change, limit, suspend or discontinue any online feature, in whole or in part, and may make it available only to users who meet the requirements above or who have purchased Premium.
Your Responsibilities
You must not use the App unlawfully, or in any way that could damage, disable, overload or interfere with the App or our services, including by circumventing the requirements above. We do not hold copies of your card records and cannot recover records that are lost.
Premium
Premium is an optional one-off in-app purchase processed by Google Play and subject to Google Play's terms and refund policies. Where the law allows, your right to cancel ends once Premium has been made available to you. Premium is tied to the Google Play account used to buy it and to this App on Android. Because of changes outside our reasonable control, some features may change or stop working over time. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Availability and Warranties
We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free or compatible with every device or card. Except as required by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available". The App uses third-party services, which may be subject to their own terms.
Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for intentional or grossly negligent conduct, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
Subject to that, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, and our total liability to you for any claim relating to the App or these Terms is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim and GBP 50.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time and will post the updated Terms on this page. We will give reasonable notice of significant changes. If you continue to use the App after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. This does not affect any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you where you live.
General
If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest of these Terms will continue to apply.
